The worst known one is, of course, the Sectumsempra curse which he, as he said in his potions book, intended for his "enemies". He also frequently hung out with Avery and Mulciber, future Death Eaters, which couldn't have been a good influence. And he didn't join the Death Eaters to protect Harry, he joine dthem because he wanted to and believed what they said. Harry wasn't even born yet the time he joined Voldemort, so he couldn't have intended to protect a child that didn't even exist yet.
He also wasn't a double agent at the beginning, he was only a follower of Voldemort. Only after Voldemort killed Lily, even though Snape begged him to spare her, he was convinced by Dumbledore to become a spy to help that Lily's sacrifice wasn't in vain. And yes, as stated above, didn't Lily "betray" him when he called her a mudblood. The Marauders bullied him again and he, in hopes of recovering his dignity, lashed out on them.
Lily, who interfered, also felt his wrath when he, out of embarassment and anger, called her a mudblood. She refused to attend.
She didn't want to be at a wedding full of witches and wizards. She just stayed at home with Vernon and Dudley. The wedding has begun and Lily walks down the aisle and she sees her family. They smile at her and are so happy for her and happy that she found someone better. When she came home from Hogwarts, she told her parents about James and how they dated but broke up because she didn't like how he was treating her best friend.
Severus and Lily recite their vows. Lily was the first person to say her vows. While Lily was saying her vows, she was crying because she was very happy and couldn't believe that they were getting married.
Afterwards, Sev says his vows. They then become husband and wife and they share a kiss. After becoming husband and wife, they hold hands. All of their family make speeches to them about how they are going to have a wonderful life together.
They smile at them. After the speeches, Sev and Lily thank everyone for coming and they make a toast. As they are about to make a toast, James shows up of nowhere and messes up a little bit of the wedding. And he makes a rude speech about them. Lily and Sev take out their wands. They tell him to leave and it's his first warning. But James refuses to leave. They tell him go and give him another warning. But he still doesn't go.
So finally both Sev and Lily conjure a spell where he leaves the wedding and they fix whatever he messed up. Then Sev and Lily are able to make their toast. Even though this picture shows "James" and he's wearing glasses, I wanted to use this picture to be Sev and Lily and their kids because I imagine Sev getting a haircut because Lily has told him that she is getting tired of his long hair and she wants him to get a haircut.
She has told him so many times and he finally gets one. Sev and Lily have three kids: two sons and one daughter. They become really close to their children. One of the sons looks like his father and the son looks like his mother Lily, and the daughter looks like her father. The son that looks like Sev is the oldest and he is in his second year at Hogwarts. Their other son and daughter are still too young to attend Hogwarts. So they just stay at home. In three years they will be able to attend Hogwarts.
While their youngest son and daughter are waiting to be old enough to attend Hogwarts, their parents tell them stories of when they were at Hogwarts and what they learned and did and so on. And they are so happy to go to Hogwarts after hearing their parents' stories. I've finally finished the full part. I really hope you guys enjoy.
After writing this part and about their kids, I'm thinking of writing a blog about their children and their years at Hogwarts.
I really appreciate all the kind comments I've gotten on this blog. It means a lot. Thank you! And when Snape lashed out at Lily and called her a Mudblood, James didn't hesitate to jump to her defense even though she had done nothing but reject him.
And who doesn't love a man who gives everyone a chance, even the underdogs and rejects? To be fair, James would and did willingly die for Lily too. But Snape loved Lily so much that he was willing to die just to avenge her. He would die just for the memory of her. Snape's love for Lily was so strong that losing her literally changed everything about him, and he was willing to dedicate the rest of his life to the destruction of the dark wizard that took her life.
Obviously, it was too little too late, but his devotion to Lily is far beyond what any average person would expect, and if Lily had chosen him then she would have had an entire lifetime to realize that.
James Potter was undoubtedly a good person at heart, but the childhood version of James was also a bit of a punk. James was an extremely popular and well-liked student at Hogwarts, but Lily Evans was one of the very few students who didn't seem to be the least bit impressed by him and wasn't willing to give him the time of day. James always had it in him to be the great man that he became, but Lily made it clear that she wasn't going to settle for anything less, and when James decided to step his game up to woo her he also let his best qualities shine.
If Severus Snape's devotion to Lily Evans wasn't apparent by the end of the entire Harry Potter series, there is one particular moment that undoubtedly sticks in the minds of every Harry Potter fan that makes his sincere and pure love for her completely undeniable. As Snape is taking his last breaths he shares some of his memories with Harry, most notably the moment that Severus discovered that Lily had been killed and a moment where Dumbledore asks Snape if he still loves Lily after all this time.
And of course, Severus responds with "always". It's easily one of the most heartbreaking moments of the series, and even the most hardened Snape hater couldn't deny how powerful it was. Who knows where James and Lily's relationship would have gone if they had survived, but one of the biggest and most obvious reasons why they needed to be together when they were together was simply because Harry Potter wouldn't exist otherwise.
Theoretically, there may have been another wizard who could defeat Voldemort. For instance, Neville Longbottom could have been the chosen one and just as easily fit into Professor Trelawney's prophecy. But now that it's all said and done it's clear that Harry Potter lived up to every expectation of the boy who lived. And he wouldn't have lived at all if Lily hadn't chosen James over Severus.
